| What Exactly is this site? I had this website built for both the autism community as well as for car enthusiasts. I wanted to share our story with others while hopefully generating donations towards autism organizations. My inspiration :  "Age" is in her twenties, and she is the reason for my entire
theme for my car. She has autistic disorder. She also has a lot of other disabilities
that are often associated with autism that impact her very much. She has no fear of
anything, is extremely strong, doesn't feel most pain and doesn't always understand her
actions, so it can lead to some scary situations. She smells, sees, and tastes colors,
and can even see lights travel across rooms, or feels the rays of light touch her skin.
Her mind works in mysterious ways which is why it is never a dull moment being around her. She also notices things most don't, and sometimes it is crazy what she sees, that a person without autism would never be able to pick out, she would be that one person to find a needle in a hay stack! Age is also extremely self injurious, due her head banging and punching, she suffered a lot of head injuries which also made her epilepsy worse, and her hands are mutated from consistent biting of them. She will also bite anything in front of her mouth, doesn't matter who or what. Age will always be very disabled by autism, but even with all the hardships she has to deal with in everyday life, she still seems to smile and live life to the fullest. She can do anything if she dedicates herself to it, and can overpass her problems if someone else is in need of her help. She is my world, and most of all "my inspiration". |
